泸州市图书馆

泸州市图书馆建于1951年，原为川南人民图书馆。1953年四川省并省后，改名为泸州图书馆，同年７月更名为泸州市图书馆。1960年宜宾、泸州两地区合并后降为县级市图书馆。1983年泸州市升格为省辖市，泸州市图书馆也随之升为地级市图书馆。2000年12月，在泸州市江阳西路建成了建筑面积为16500平方米的新馆。

Luzhou City Library, once called People’s Library in Southern Sichuan, was built in 1951. It was retitled Luzhou Library in 1953 after Sichuan province was set up, and again renamed Luzhou City Library in July in the same year. It was relegated to a county-level city library when Yibin was amalgamated with Luzhou. In 1983, Luzhou City Library became a municipal library as Luzhou was upgraded to a provincial city. In December of 2000, the new library was completed in Jiangyang west Road with the floor area of 16500 square meters.
